This site is operated by Creative Services Scotland Ltd., as part of the Inverness-Highland UK City of Culture 2029 bid.
What we collect
Story submissions
When you submit a comment via our form, we collect only the text you write. We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other personal data through this form. Submissions are anonymous. Please do not include personal details (your name, address, or details that could identify you or others) in your submission. Submissions with such information will not be published, or will have information redacted as appropriate.
All submissions will be reviewed by our team. Approved submissions may be published publicly on this website and used for the purposes of the Inverness-Highland Bid 2029. Occasionally, we may have to make minor edits or adjustments to submitted text, but will always retain the sense and meaning of each individual submission.
Newsletter sign-up
If you sign up for email updates, we collect your email address only. This is processed by our newsletter provider, MailerLite, who handle this on our behalf. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send or by contacting us directly.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data or track individuals. It provides us with anonymous, aggregate statistics (e.g. number of visitors, popular pages).
What we don’t collect
We do not use tracking cookies, do not run advertising pixels, and do not share or sell any data to third parties.
